Amazons Nova Reel Generates Longer AI Videos - Amazon has upgraded its Nova Reel AI video model to produce up to two-minute videos that maintain a consistent style across multiple shots. Released in December 2024, the improved Nova Reel 1.1 includes a Multishot Manual mode that offers users enhanced control through images and prompts. The service is accessible via AWS platforms like Bedrock and requires access requests, automatically approved.
As with other AI models, Nova Reel raises questions about training data sources and copyright concerns, though Amazon assures customers they will be indemnified against related legal problems.
