ChatGPT Enhances Image-Generation with GPT-4o - OpenAI's ChatGPT now features the upgraded GPT-4o model for creating and editing images, available to Pro plan subscribers and soon to other users. This new model, replacing DALL-E 3, generates more accurate and detailed images and can modify existing ones. GPT-4o was trained on publicly available and proprietary data, with OpenAI ensuring respect for artists' rights.
The upgrade follows a similar strategy by Google's Gemini 2.0 Flash, criticized for inadequate content safeguards. OpenAI allows creators to opt-out of data collection for training purposes.
