ChatGPT Restored Post Major Morning Outage - ChatGPT suffered a major outage early Thursday, disrupting web access and API availability. OpenAI pinpointed the issue by 6:12 a.m. Pacific and quickly applied a fix, restoring services by 7:09 a.m.
Though uncommon, outages do occur; a three-hour incident in December was caused by telemetry service bugs. The current issues are resolved, allowing users to access ChatGPT again.
