Deck Raises $12M to Unlock Web Data - Deck, a Montreal-based startup, secured $12 million in Series A funding led by Infinity Ventures. The company aims to "Plaid-ify" the internet by offering infrastructure for user-permissioned data access from websites lacking APIs. Their AI agents navigate and extract data with user consent, targeting sectors like utilities and e-commerce.
Co-founders Yves-Gabriel Leboeuf and Frederick Lavoie, previously of Flinks, focus on eliminating data access friction. With 30 employees, Deck has experienced rapid growth and plans to introduce a data vertical creator for easy developer access across industries.
