Google Enhances AI Mode with Image Queries - Google has enhanced its AI Mode in Google Search, enabling users to ask complex questions about images through Google Lens's multimodal capabilities. This feature analyzes entire scenes in photos, examining object relationships and materials, allowing users to take a photo and receive recommendations based on identified items. Follow-up questions can further refine searches.
Initially exclusive to Google One AI Premium, AI Mode is now available to millions more via Google Labs. The upgrade positions the service to compete with other platforms like Perplexity and ChatGPT Search.
