Google Search’s new ‘AI Mode’ lets users ask complex, multi-part questions

This feature, available to Google One AI Premium subscribers, uses a custom Gemini 2.0 version to provide detailed comparisons and real-time data, prioritizing factuality and suggesting web links when uncertain.

Users can access AI Mode via Search Labs or the Google app. The launch also includes upgrades to AI Overviews, expanding accessibility across age groups and topics like coding and math in the U.S.
