Krisp AI Alters Accents for Clearer Communication - Krisp's desktop app now features AI to modify Indian English accents to U.S. English on calls, aiming to enhance clarity and understanding. This feature, trialed in enterprise environments, is claimed to increase sales and revenue, but initially faces challenges with naturalness and word recognition. Developed to operate without pre-training, it uses vast speech samples and user-consented data for real-time response.
The company plans to extend this AI capability to other accents, such as Filipino, and to release iOS and Android apps.
