October 16, 2024: LatticeFlow Launches EU AI Act Compliance Tool - Zurich-based LatticeFlow AG has released COMPL-AI, a framework to help companies ensure their large language models comply with the EU AI Act. Backed by $14M in venture funding, LatticeFlow aids in identifying AI dataset issues and meeting safety requirements. COMPL-AI translates high-level regulatory demands into actionable steps, using 27 benchmarks to evaluate AI models. While the tool finds LLMs generally guard against harmful outputs, it highlights challenges in assessing cybersecurity, fairness, and user privacy compliance. The European Commission welcomes this initiative as a step toward implementing the AI Act.
