Microsofts Financial AGI Benchmark for OpenAI - Microsoft and OpenAI have established a financial definition for AGI, requiring OpenAI’s AI systems to generate $100 billion in profits, as reported by The Information. This financial benchmark differs from the usual technical and philosophical definitions of AGI. Despite concerns that OpenAI might declare AGI early to outmaneuver Microsoft, the agreement ensures Microsoft's access to the technology until the profit target is reached.
