OpenAI Unveils Sora Turbo AI Video Generator - OpenAI has launched Sora Turbo, a hyperrealistic AI video generator for ChatGPT Plus and Pro subscribers, as announced by CEO Sam Altman. Sora Turbo can generate videos from text or images in various resolutions and aspect ratios, featuring a Storyboarding mode for smooth clip transitions. Despite delivering impressive results, it sometimes produces flawed details and faces competition from other AI video platforms.
Early access testers criticized OpenAI's expectations for free labor, while tech guru Marques Brownlee highlighted Sora's capabilities and limitations. OpenAI plans to introduce tailored pricing by 2025.
