November 12, 2024: Snowflake Unveils New AI Data Agents - At its BUILD developer conference, Snowflake introduced Snowflake Intelligence, a platform that enables enterprise users to create AI-driven data agents. These agents can extract insights from both structured and unstructured data across multiple platforms like Google Workspace and Salesforce, and perform actions based on these insights. Utilizing Cortex AI, the agents respond to natural language queries and execute tasks such as uploading files or modifying data. Currently, in private preview, the platform enhances Snowflakes AI capabilities by integrating diverse data sources, leveraging the unified Horizon Catalog for seamless data management.
