August 1, 2024: Snowpark Container Services Launches for AI Deployment - Snowflakes Snowpark Container Services is now generally available, enabling secure deployment and management of AI, ML, and generative AI models. Initially previewed in June 2023, the service is live on AWS and in public preview on Azure. It provides on-demand GPUs and CPUs, diverse storage, and integrations with observability tools. Despite a recent security breach, Snowflake continues to enhance its AI capabilities, aiming to expand availability to all cloud platforms and offer further improvements.
